Hi, I’m Lisa Ruggiero — nurse, mum, sales leader, and founder of bossy.lifestyle.

For as long as I can remember, I was called bossy. Not in a good way — it was the word used when I spoke up, took charge, or got things done. Like many women, I carried that word as something to tone down, to soften. But over time, I realised something: being bossy wasn’t the problem. It was my strength. It was leadership, care, courage, and clarity in action. I still cry when I read this paragraph. 

So, I stopped apologising — and built a brand around it instead.

With nearly 20 years in nursing and 15 years in the commercial space, I’ve spent my career navigating fast-paced, high-pressure environments. I’ve led teams, managed chaos, and learned that preparation is everything. That’s why I created bossy.lifestyle — a line of stylish, durable, no-nonsense bags designed for people who carry a lot and want to look good doing it.
